The Missoula Iris Society had a very successful annual rhizome sale, Saturday, July 30! $5,223.00 worth of iris rhizomes were sold. This amount is a gross income amount.

Our members were absolutely amazing. They worked very hard with digging, trimming, labeling, sorting, loading, setting up and closing the sale, and helping customers with their purchases.

There is good news on our proposed Asphalt Walkway to be installed at the Fort Missoula Iris Garden. We have received a grant of $3200.00 from the Preserving Missoula County's History Grant. We appreciate receiving this grant.

We have also applied for a grant from the Brondum Foundation. We will not hear if we have been considered until after August 15th.
