Wayne's World (1992)

Based on the popular Saturday Night Live skit, Mike Myers stars as slacker/rock aficionado Wayne Campbell who along with his best pal Garth (Dana Carvey) hosts a public-access TV show. Once they get noticed by a bigwig TV producer and get a sponsor for a big budget show, they find that fame isn't all its cracked up to be. The film takes place in the Chicago suburb of Aurora, IL but was filmed mostly in Los Angeles. Thanks to Chas at Itsfilmedthere for providing much of the information on this page.
Wayne's house is located at 2105 Texhoma Avenue in San Fernando Valley, CA.
After Garth picks up Wayne, it begins the famous "Bohemian Rhapsody" scene as we are given a tour of various Chicago landmarks. They drive by Payless Shoe Source at 2800 North Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago. Later, we see them going the other direction on West Diversey Avenue.
They pick up Phil (Sean Sullivan), who is "partied out" at 205 North Citrus Avenue in Covina, CA.
Wheels Auto Mart at 3939 North Western Avenue in Chicago is now gone.
The "Eye Care Indian" is located at the NW corner of West 63rd Street & South Pulaski Road in Chicago.

Another landmark they drive past is Scatchell's Beef & Pizza at 4700 West Cermak in Cicero, IL.
They drive by Chicago Joe's Restaurant Bar & Grill at 2256 West Irving Park Road in Chicago.
Then it's on to Cassell's Music at 901 North Maclay Avenue in San Fernando Valley, where Wayne must check out his dream guitar.
The cars on the spike has since been torn down and now a Walgreens sits in its place at 7113 Cermak Road in Berwyn, IL.
"Stan Mikita's Donuts" was the Crab Pit, now Chez-Nous at 1220 North La Brea Avenue in Inglewood, CA. It looks considerably different than it did in the film.
The "Gas Works" where Wayne first sees dream-girl Cassandra (Tia Carrere) and Garth gets a chance to try out his stun gun is located at 1800 Industrial Street in Los Angeles.
The "grey poupon" scene was filmed at approximately 142 North Citrus Avenue. This is opposite the corner where they picked up Phil earlier.
The "Oliver Communications" building is 218 North Dearborn Street in downtown Chicago.
The second club where they see Cassandra play is at 1745 East 7th Street in Los Angeles. They enter on the Mill Street side.
Garth's house is right across the street from Wayne's at 7102 Texhoma Avenue. The street hockey scene takes place right in front.
On their way to the guitar shop, Wayne and Cassandra drive east on 183rd Street under the Interstate 605 overpass in Cerritos, CA.
Benjamin's (Robe Lowe) apartment is at the SE corner of West Waveland Avenue & North Pine Grove Avenue in Chicago.
Wayne and Garth's trip to the Laverne and Shirley apartment in Milwaukee is actually on the Paramount Studios backlot (5555 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles).

Later, we see Wayne outside Cassandra's place, once again at 1745 East 7th in L.A.
Cassandra's music video was filmed at Meyberg Waterfall in the Los Angeles County Arboretum at 301 North Baldwin Avenue in Arcadia, CA.
Wayne is pulled over by a familiar-looking motorcycle cop (Robert Patrick) alongside Liberty Park on Studebaker Road in Cerritos, CA. Later, Benjamin is cavity-searched in the same spot.
