Risky Business (1983)

Tom Cruise stars as Joel Goodsen, a teenager living in suburban Chicago who is left home alone while his parents go on vacation. He soon finds himself in more trouble than he could have imagined, thanks to his new acquaintance - a callgirl named Lana (Rebecca De Mornay). The film was shot in the suburban towns north of Chicago on Lake Michigan, where many of John Hughes' films also take place.

Joel lives at 1258 Linden Avenue in Highland Park, IL.

The diner where Joel and his friends talk about their futures is Shelton's Ravinia Grill at 481 Roger Williams Avenue in Highland Park.

Joel, Lana and Miles (Curtis Armstrong) escape from Guido (Joe Pantoliano) outside the Drake Hotel at 140 East Walton Place in Chicago.

While escaping Guido, they drive past the Baha'i Temple at 100 Linden Avenue in Wilmette, IL.

Joel's high school was Niles East High School at 7701 Lincoln Avenue in Skokie, IL (also seen in Weird Science). It has since been torn down and Oakton Community College stands in its place.

Lana waits for her friend at the Deerfield Train Station at 860 Deerfield Road in Deerfield, IL.

Joel visits Lana in an apartment at 14 West Elm Street, Chicago.
