Like Father, Like Son (1987)

The first of the pair of ridiculous father/son role-swapping films of the 80s (Vice Versa followed in 1988), I think this is an underrated comedy with some great moments in it. Kirk Cameron & Dudley Moore star, and Sean Astin plays the annoying best friend "Trigger." Anyway, it's hard to find much information on the shooting locations, but this is what I've managed to piece together so far.

The high school seen in the film was John Marshall High School at 3939 Tracy Street, Los Angeles. It was also used in Pretty In Pink. A different location was used for the track scenes.

The hospital where Dudley Moore works was Balboa Hospital in San Diego.

Soon after the body swapping incident, Chris (in his dad's body) & Trigger go on a shopping spree in West Hollywood. They drive by the Roxy Theater at 9009 Sunset Boulevard. They also go by AAArdvark's Odd Ark thrift store at 7575 Melrose Avenue. Now it is called American Vintage, and AAArdvarks has moved to 7566 Melrose Ave.
