Winners Take All (1987)

Rick Melon (Don Michael Paul) is a good ol' country boy who works hard but plays harder on his dirt bike. When his old friend "Bad" Billy Robinson (Robert Krantz) - now a hotshot team rider - briefly returns to town, it brings back Rick's competitive side and he decides to take him on for the Supercross World Championship. With the help of his buddies Wally (Peter DeLuise) and Goose (Courtney Gains) and a little bit of luck, Rick might just make it all the way. This fun 80s sports film utilized locations primarily in Chino, CA and Dallas, TX.

Opening race scenes were filmed at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum at 3911 South Figueroa Street.

The Trailways bus station where Rick and the guys wait for Billy to arrive is on 6th Street in downtown Chino. Nearly all of the buildings on the opposite side of the street (visible in several shots) have since been replaced.
