Back to the Future: Part II (1989)

The second film in the Back to the Future series follows Doc (Christopher Lloyd) and Marty (Michael J. Fox) as they journey to the future to save Marty's kids, and end up in a mess of trouble as the Tannen family interfere with the space-time continuum. Like the first film, this one was mostly filmed in Los Angeles.

The film opens with a re-shot version of the last scene from the first film, which takes place at Marty's house at 9303 Roslyndale Avenue in Arleta, CA.

Marty wanders into Hill Valley 2015, filmed in a re-dressed Courthouse Square at Universal Studios Hollywood.

The entrance to the HIlldale homes where Marty lives in 2015 was filmed at the corner of Somerset Street & Oakhurst Street in El Monte, CA.

The futuristic McFly home was at 3793 Oakhurst Street.

Doc and Marty drop off Jennifer (Elizabeth Shue) at her house at 161 North Magnolia Avenue in Monrovia, CA.

They then return to Marty's house at 9303 Roslyndale Avenue in Arleta.

Marty starts to realize something is wrong as he sees the destruction along Bailey Street in Whittier, near the high school on Whittier Avenue.

He makes the mistake of dropping in on Strickland (James Tolkan) at 12511 Bailey Street.

In the alternate 2015, the courthouse has become "Biff Tannen's Pleasure Paradise" - the shot was a combination of a foreground at Courthouse Square at Universal and a background of the Plaza Hotel & Casino at 1 South Main Street in Las Vegas, NV.

Still stuck in the alternate future, Marty finds the final resting place of his father in "Oak Park Cemetery." This was filmed in a small park at the Valero oil refinery in Wilmington, CA.

Marty gives Biff's gang the slip in the hotel staircase, which was filmed in the parking garage of the Universal Hilton Hotel at 555 Universal Terrace Pkwy in Los Angeles.

Marty spies on Biff as he leaves his grandmother's house at 1809 Bushnell Avenue in Pasadena.

Biff stops to toss the neighbor kids' ball up on the porch of 1803 Bushnell Avenue.

And soon we're back in Courthouse Square.

Marty gets trapped in the back seat of Biff's car as they enter the Griffith Park Observatory Tunnel on Mount Hollywood Drive in Griffith Park.

Doc observes his past self readying the time-travel experiment in Courthouse Square.

Biff arrives at the dance outside the east entrance to Whittier High School off Whittier Avenue.

The "Enchantment Under the Sea" dance was likely recreated at Hollywood United Methodist Church at 6817 Franklin Avenue in Hollywood.

Marty follows the flight of the sports almanac as it passes from Biff to Strickland on the east side of Whittier High.

The car/hoverboard chase was back in Griffith Park Tunnel.

Once again we see the time travel event from the first movie in Courthouse Square.
