Animal House (1978)

This zany comedy from director John Landis follows the boys of the Delta Tau Chi Fraternity - the wildest bunch at Faber College, as they fight against the evil Dean Wormer (John Vernon) to stay on campus. The fictional college was filmed primarily the University of Oregon campus in Eugene.

Dean Wormer's office is located in Johnson Hall, the actual administration building for the college.

The Pho Kappa Psi house (729 East 11th Avenue) was used for exterior and interior shots of the Omega House.

The Delta House was actually a halfway house at the time of filming, at fell into disrepair in the years that followed. It was torn down in 1986. It was located at 751 East 11th Avenue.

The Tri Pi sorority house was actually the Sigma Nu fraternity, and the interior was used for Delta house scenes. Today, it houses the Northwest Christian University's Center for Teaching and Learning. It is located next door to the former site of Delta house at 763 East 11th Avenue.
