Roxanne (1987)

Steve Martin's romantic comedy about a small-town love triangle and big noses features the small town of Nelson, British Columbia prominently.

"Dixie's Cafe" was located at 524 Vernon Street.

Roxanne's huge Victorian home was filmed at 1033 Sugar Mountain Way in Anmore, BC. Best of all, it is now open to the public as Roxanne's House Antiques.

The Nelson Fire Station featured prominently in the film is located at 919 Ward Street.

The bar scenes were filmed at Richard's on Richard at 1036 Richards Street in Vancouver.

The one exterior shot of the bar is the Ward Street entrance to Touchstones Nelson Museum of Art & History (506 Vernon Street).

The "All Things Dead" shop was located at 348 Baker Street.

The scene on the ski hill was presumably filmed at nearby Whitewater Ski Resort.

During his letter writing montage, Charlie is seen dropping one off outside the BMO Bank of Montreal at 298 Baker Street.

As he searches for the fire, Charlie runs down Baker Street between Kootenay & Stanley Streets.

The barn was located at approximately 206 Baker Street.
