This innovative music video (also directed by John Landis, who did Thriller) features small supporting roles by Macaulay Culkin, George Wendt, Tess Harper and even a shot of model Tyra Banks. Jackson is seen dancing at various locations throughout the Los Angeles area as he imitates dances of various cultures.
Michael dances with Plains Native Americans at Vasquez Rocks County Park, which has been seen in hundreds of other productions.

The busy highway where Jackson dances with an Indian woman with the smokestacks behind him was located at 11779 Sheldon Street in Sun Valley. A fake row of smokestacks was built directly behind him. The old surplus store across the street was used in Commando & The Wild Life.
