Salute Your Shorts (1991-92)
One of the most popular shows in the Nickelodeon lineup from the early 90s chronicled the life of campers at fictional "Camp Anawanna." Salute Your Shorts lasted for a mere two seasons but still remains popular as a cult classic today.
Unfortunately there is no real-life Camp Anawanna per se, as the show was filmed at a variety of locations. Most of the bunk interiors were built as sets and no longer exist. However, much of the show's exterior shots were done at the Griffith Park Boys Camp in Griffith Park, Los Angeles. Although the cabins look much different than what is seen in the show, the familiar baseball field seen in nearly every episode and swimming pool were filmed here.

Another location that should be familiar to fans of the series is the camp's lake, which is seen many times throughout the show. This was filmed at the Upper Franklin Canyon Reservoir in Franklin Canyon Park to the west.
