This classic sitcom followed the life of the Winslow family in Chicago and their nerdy neighbor Steve Urkel (Jaleel White).

The opening title shot of the Winslow home was at 1516 West Wrightwood Avenue in Chicago. Interiors were filmed on a set in front of a studio audience at Warner Brothers Studios.

Also in the opening credits, the Winslow family is seen riding bikes across the Irv Kupcinet Bridge on Wabash Avenue over the Chicago River.

The "Chicago Chronicle" building is a shot reused from Perfect Strangers and is the Crain Communications Building at 360 North Michigan Avenue.

The school building seen in early episodes is John Burroughs Middle School at 600 South McCadden Place in Los Angeles (thanks to Chas).

The "Phister" theater is actually the Regent Showcase at 614 North La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles, another shot borrowed from Perfect Strangers (thanks to Chas).
