The Money Pit (1986)

Walter (Tom Hanks) and Anna (Shelley Long) are a young couple living in New York City who buy a seemingly perfect fixer-upper, only to encounter problem after problem while trying to restore it. 

The exterior shot of the apartment where we are introduced to Walter and Ann is the Langham Building at 131-139 Central Park West in New York City.

Walter and Ann's apartment at the start of the film is the Apthorp Apartments at 2211 Broadway in New York City.

Max (Alexander Godunov) attempts to seduce Anna at the Cafe des Artistes at 1 West 67th Street.

The rooftop running track seen early in the film is the Coles Sports and Recreation Center at New York University, located at 181 Mercer Street. 

The "money pit" is located at 199 Feeks Lane in Locust Valley, NY.

Walter's father is seen buying a house at the end of the film - this was filmed at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens at 3251 South Miami Avenue in Miami, FL.
