Saved By The Bell (1989-1993)

The cheesy but popular TV series Saved By the Bell was filmed at Sunset-Gower Studios at 1438 North Gower Street in Hollywood. The main sets consisted of the "Bayside High" hallway and two classrooms, and the popular hangout "The Max."

Reportedly the same hallway set used in the show was later re-used for filming Disney's That's So Raven at Hollywood Center Studios. What has become of it since is unknown.

In season five, Zack and the gang get summer jobs at "Malibu Sands Resort" - shown in the aerial view as Gladstone Restaurant at 17300 Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.

The actual location of the beach club is now Annenburg Community Beach House at 415 Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica, although it has been remodeled beyond recognition.

Also in season five, the gang goes to Palm Springs for a weekend for Jessie's father's wedding. In a nice little bit of advertising, the entire vacation takes place at the luxurious Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa at 74855 Country Club Drive in Palm Desert.

Besides a couple establishing shots during the first season (when the show was titled Good Morning, Miss Bliss and the school was "John F. Kennedy Junior High"), the only exterior shots of the school with the actors were done on sets. It wasn't until the final TV movie "Wedding in Las Vegas" that we got a glimpse of "Bayside High," when Zack, Slater and Screech return for a visit. For this, the front entrance to Palisades Charter High School at 15777 Bowdoin Street in Pacific Palisades was used.

It was also in this TV movie that we get the only glimpse of the outside of Zack's house, where the gang sets out on their trip to Las Vegas. This was filmed at 510 Frontera Drive in Pacific Palisades.
