Christine (1983)
This John Carpenter thriller based on a Stephen King story about an "evil" car that possesses its owners to kill. Keith Gordon stars as geeky Arnie Cunningham, who buys "Christine" and soon becomes obsessed with her. The movie was filmed around the Los Angeles area.
Arnie lives at 1037 Highland Street in South Pasadena.
The football game was filmed at Oak Park High School at 899 Kanan Road in Oak Park, CA. There are no longer bleachers on the south end of the field and the parking area and road on the east side where Arnie parked Christine is now a housing development.

The drive-in movie scene was filmed at the Pickwick Drive-In at 1100 West Alameda Avenue in Burbank. It has since been demolished.
Christine hunts down "Moochie" (Malcolm Denare) on Huntington Drive South under the North Soto Street overpass in Lincoln Heights.

Macho bully Buddy Repperton (William Ostrander) and buddies leave Valencia Liquors at 22925 Lyons Avenue in Newhall, CA.
The "Mobilco" gas station was built by the film crew at the SE corner of McBean Parkway and Valencia Boulevard in Santa Clarita and was destroyed for the film. Today it is Corner Bakery Cafe at 24290 Valencia Boulevard.
Arnie's best friend (before he met Christine) Dennis (John Stockwell) lives at 1357 North Genesee Avenue in West Hollywood.
