The hardware store that Cru rides through was back in Cochrane, likely in what is now Heavenly Outhouse at 312 1 Street West

Cru decks Mr. Timmer (Ray Walston) with a newspaper outside his shop at 521 1 Street West in Cochrane.

One location that has been difficult to track down is the chain-link fence lined alleyway that Cru rides down and breaks through the wooden fence advertising Helltrack. The wood fence was built for the film, and wherever the houses were they are likely now gone. One rumored spot was off 2 Street West, near where Luke delivers the paper to the firetruck in Cochrane. Another location is across Bow Crescent NW from where they begin their paper route in Bowness. This would match as the reverse angle of Cru shows a parking lot behind him. However, any trace of the houses or fences in the shot does not remain.

Cru's last stop on his paper route is the "Little Miss Shop," at 204 1 Street West in Cochrane. The building has been remodeled as to be totally unrecognizable today.

It is from here that he looks across the street at the clock on the Provincial Building at 213 1 Street West. The building still looks identical, except no clock.

The scene of Cru and his buddies jumping over the preppies was shot on the playfield behind Bowness High School at 4627 77 Street NW. The other scene shot here was the chemistry lab where the Rad Racing team makes T-shirts.

School hallway shots were done at Cochrane High School at 529 4 Avenue North

The community center was in Cochrane, located at 1 Avenue & 2 Street West but has since been torn down. A grass field now stands in its place.

Cru and his buds hang out in a shack at the Spray Lake Sawmill at 305 Griffin Road West. It would have stood just inside the entrance on River Avenue.

The ensuing chase with Sergeant Smith (H.B. Haggerty) was shot in and around the sawmill grounds.

The chase culminates with Cru, Becky and Luke riding off down River Avenue, across from the sawmill's east entrance.
