21 Jump Street (2012)
Much like the original series, the new 21 Jump Street film starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum took place in a fictional "Metropolitan" city. This time however, filming was done in and around New Orleans, LA.
On their first assignment, Schmidt (Hill) and Jenko (Tatum) patrol Lafreniere Park in Metairie, LA.
"Sagan High School" was actually Riverdale High School at 240 Riverdale Drive in Jefferson, LA.
"The Chapel" - supposedly located at "21 Jump Street," is actually the historic St. James AME Church at 222 North Roman Street in New Orleans.
Shopping mall scenes were filmed at Macy's at The Esplanade in Kenner, LA.
After stealing the driver's ed car, Schmidt accidentally knocks over a biker on South Claiborne Avenue at Poidras Street in New Orleans.
