Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991)

The not-so-righteous sequel to Excellent Adventure puts the stoner rocker duo back in L.A. where they belong (though still not in the actual San Dimas). Most of the film was shot on sets in Valencia, CA (likely at Santa Clarita Studios) but a few locations were in and around Northridge & Santa Clarita

The futuristic "Bill and Ted University" was filmed at the Japanese Garden in Van Nuys, CA (thanks to B). This same location represented Starfleet Academy in Star Trek: The Next Generation.

The auditorium where the "Battle of the Bands" takes places was Santa Monica Civic Auditorium at 1855 Main Street in Santa Monica.

Bill and Ted are living together at the Hollywood Riviera Condominiums at 1400 North Hayworth Avenue in West Hollywood.

The large stone formations where the evil robots take Bill and Ted is Vasquez Rocks County Park at 10700 Escondido Canyon Road, Santa Clarita. This spot has been featured in countless productions over the years, including the Star Trek episode they watch on TV earlier.
