Kindergarten Cop (1990)
Arnold Schwarzenegger stars as Detective John Kimble, who must go undercover as a kindergarten teacher in order to put a dangerous drug dealer behind bars. Along with classic 80s films like Short Circuit and The Goonies, this movie helped to put Astoria, Oregon on the map as a popular filming destination.
The opening scene where Kimble hunts Crisp (Richard Tyson) was filmed in Main Place Mall at 2800 North Main Street in Santa Ana, CA.
Kimble hunts down his material witness outside the Arcade Theatre at 534 South Broadway in downtown LA.
