This staple of 80s television starred Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd as partners in the Blue Moon Detective Agency. The show was filmed in and around Los Angeles.

The main sets of the interior of the detective agency were filmed at MGM Studios. The studio (at 10202 West Washington Boulevard in Culver City) is now owned by Sony Pictures, which offers a guided tour to the public.

The large hotel where the elevator scene took place in the pilot was the Westin Bonaventure at 404 South Figueroa Street.

The theater in the climax of the pilot episode was the Orpheum Theater at 842 South Broadway.

In the second episode, David is seen exiting the Blue Moon office - presumably located in the Scottrade building at 1800 Avenue of the Stars.

David is seen crossing the street at Watt Plaza, 1875 Century Park East.

The entrance to the Regency Investigations office in the second episode was the First Republic Bank at 1888 Century Park East.

The junkyard where the final shootout in the second episode took place is at the end of Richmond Street off North Mission Road in East Los Angeles.

The KRKD radio building in the fourth episode is at 541 South Spring Street.

Union Station at 801 Vignes Street was seen in "Next Stop Murder."

In episode 6, Roy Hirsch (Jon Cedar) gets out of his taxi at approx. 306 West 3rd Street.

Later in episode 6, a car chase sends Maddie and David down Melrose Avenue at North Poinsettia Place.

Then they are seen going down Melrose between Formosa & North Detroit.

They are then seen turning from Melrose onto North La Brea.

As the chase continues, they are seen going in and out of an alley near 636 North La Brea.

The old church seen in "The Lady in the Iron Mask" (but perhaps more famous for its role in Kill Bill) is located at East Avenue G & 198th Street East in Lancaster, CA.

In "The Bride of Tupperman," David visits En Brochette, now Il Cielo at 9018 Burton Way in Beverly Hills.

David & Maddie go in Stan's Adult Superstore at 1117 North Western Avenue in "Funeral For A Door Nail."

In the episode "Camille," Judd Nelson chases Whoopi Goldberg across West 7th Street at South Park View Street.

The end of "Camille" concludes with a chase around the Sony Pictures Studio Lot.
