my abstract

For my experiment I choose to test Shampoo to see if it makes human hair rough or soft. I decided to do this experiment because some Shampoo makes hair rough and frizzy.I Choose two Shampoo Head & shoulders and L'oreal Total Repairs. I predicted that Head & shoulders would make yours hair softer because it remove dandruff. I asked my mother if I could use her hair as a sample.she said yes. I went to the store and bought the two bottles of Shampoo.

My mother cut two pieces of her hair. I washed one hair sample with Head & Shoulders, and the other with l’oreal Total Repairs. Then I let the hair sample dry naturally because heat makes hair rough and looked frizzy. My hypothesis was not correct. I thought that Head & Shoulders hair sample would be softe. But it was not. The L’oreal Total Repair Shampoo was better. It made the hair softer . My mother was not surprised. She Knew the L’oreal Total Repair Shampoo makes hair softer.

After four days I did the exam again and the one that came out better was L'oreal. L'oreal is better for your hair because it makes it soft and shiny and the Head & Shoulders is just to remove dandruff but it makes the hair rough. That is why I chose L’oreal.

Procedure

I purchased Head & Shoulders and Loreal Shampoo. I used my mother's hair for this science project. My mother's hair was a bit rough because my mom's hair is curly. She cut two pieces of her hair for me to use. I used Head & Shoulders and L’oreal Shampoo. I washed one hair sample with Head & Shoulders.I washed the other sample with L'oreal. I let the hair samples dry naturally. I compared the two samples. The sample washed with Head & Shoulders was stiff and rough. I took pictures of the samples .The sample washed with L’oreal was soft and not as curly
