8 Which brand of Hairspray is the best?
Question : For My experiment I am trying to find out Which brand of hairspray is the best ?. I am doing this experiment to try and test out if different brands of hairspray have a different effect on different climates such as wind, Humidity and flexibility.
Hypotheses: For my hypotheses I hypothesized that the brand Tresemme would be the best for your hair because it's used by professionals worldwide and it has a humidity protectant. It also has an extra hold of four which is one of the highest controls.
Procedure:
Gather different brands of hairspray
Spray the product (6 times ) on a piece of fake hair
Test the product on the hair and test it in different climates exam: humidity , wind , flexibility. For the wind tests I made sure to put the hair in the same spot each time I tested
Observe the outcomes
repeat the test 2-3 times
record the data observed and use a 1-5 scale to determine the quality of the humidity , shine , hold etc …
Conclusion:
For my experiment , I found out that the brand Tresemme was the best hairspray out of the 2 that I tested. The brand Tresemme had an overall average of 4.6 and the brand Perfect Purity had an average of 4.3 and the last brand that I tested had an average of 2.6. My question for this project was which brand was the best for your hair in different climates. The data for my experiment did agree with my hypotheses because I hypothesized that the brand Tresemme would be the best for your hair and it ended up having an average of 4.6. Overall, I think my experiment was pretty accurate because I made sure to put the hair in the same spot every time to catch the wind and I also made sure to spray the same amount of hairspray on each piece of hair. I think I could have improved my experiment by using the same hold (control) for each brand I tested .

For my experiment I was trying to find out which brand of hairspray would provide the best hold in different climates. My hypotheses was that the brand Tresemme would be the best because it’s the number one brand used by professionals worldwide. It also has humidity protectant. I also decided to choose this brand because it has a hold of four which is one of the highest controls.
The first step in starting my experiment was to gather a piece of fake hair. After that I cut the hair in 3 even pieces to test for each brand. Then I, gathered three different brands of hairspray to test with. After that I sprayed an equal amount of six sprays per hair and tested each piece of hair in wind , humidity and I also tested flexibility. To make the tests fair I let the hair in the climate the same amount of time each turn. Finally I observed the outcomes and rated them on a scale of 1-5.
For my project I found out that the brand Tresemme ended up working the best overall with an average of 4.6. The Brand perfect purity was the second best with an overall average of 4.3. The brand Salon Selectives was the least best with an average of 2.6. During the tests I found out that the brand Tresemme was the best because it got a five for wind a four for humidity and a five for flexibility.
In conclusion, I learned by doing this project that you can have great hair in different climates without having to spend a fortune on a good hairspray. My hypothesis was proven correct because I hypothesized that the brand Tresemme would be the best and it had an average of 4.6. Overall, I think my experiment was pretty accurate but, I could have improved it better by making sure that I used the same amount of hairspray on each piece of hair and by making sure that I put the hair in the same spot every time to get the same amount of wind each time.
