SPEED DATE THE CANDIDATES

On Monday, October 8^th, we will be sponsoring a “Meet the City Council Candidates Night” at the Adult Community Center, 6:00-8:30 pm.

The Program begins at 6:00 with a chance to examine the candidates’ platforms. At 6:30 we will divide into groups. The candidates will move from group to group to give each of the candidates the opportunity to have conversations with all of us. You get to ask the candidate considered and insightful questions about City issues that keep you awake at night, and he or she gets to think on their feet in order to give thoughtful and well-informed responses. At least, that’s the idea… We hope this provides a forum where we can get to know each candidate, how they think, where they stand on the issues the City will face in the coming years, and what they value about our community.
