January committee meeting minutes

Meeting called to order at 6:30 pm by the Chair, Sharon Gustafson at the Lake Oswego Public Library Baars Meeting Room.

Subcommittee Reports

· Tree Subcommittee – Sharon Gustafson

o 767 10^th Street; Tree Removal Application 499-19-05656. Sharon Gustafson and Kathleen Wiens met with the property owner (contractor) on 01/07/2020 to review the remodel plans and explanation for removal of three large significant Douglas fir trees. They have submitted a revised plan showing the correct placement of trees to be removed, and an arborist report. The application is currently on hold with the city, and the planner in charge is out until 01/14/2020.

o 1141 C Ave; Sharon and Kathleen met with the owners of this property to review their updated plans for the site, and the three trees that will be removed. A tree removal application has not been submitted.

o Map the Neighborhood meeting Jan 11^th at noon at the Wien’s house (785 9^th St)

Updates

· Carole Ockert sent a letter for the LO Citizens View regarding the value of

Neighborhood Association and Chairs. Jim Bolland read the letter aloud.
