Water treatment plant owned by Portland services LO and Portland. Current
agreement 1983.
2014 facilities plan. Conditional use of land. BES wants to be able to do new work on the plant. Looking for special overlay district to deal with on going work.
Ask: work with engineering team to establish base conditions and look for other
concerns to the neighborhoods.
Concern expressed that this could be to establish a waste water treatment plant to handle many more houses and the need to get more peak flow capacity.
Requesting to add neighborhood board people to community involvement team. Open house in Mid-May.
Concerns about how the current Foothills development plan might influence this project.
D Street Project
Well attend event. 15-20 people attend walk through. Storm water treatment with bio constructs, swails. Not as extensive as 10th street. Thinking sidewalk,
contiguous with road, but different color. Not going to make road wider. Concern
about losing trees when road is dug up. Don't want kids crossing street.
3rd street neighborhood meeting, Next Wednesday, Feb. 8. 6 pm. Play Boutique.
Vote in favor of raising issue with the code that alters code referring to long
walled r-2 developments.
Trees: Red woods on E & 7th is a concern.
