FAN^FH Coordinating Committee Meeting
12/5/2012 7pm ACC
Committee members attending: C.Ockert, K.Ockert, Glen Lowe, Martin Monto, David Rudawitz, Jim Bolland, Dennis O’Neil

A. R 7.5 Zoning in FAN (Hamilton)
a. Clean-up of ordinance tweaks (32 items)
b. Should R6 standards apply to R7.5 lots in FAN? Question of whether they are appropriate, Planning Commission to hear these in January 2013. Include: Roof Design (roof pitch). Front Porch requirement. Accessory structure set-backs. Committee unanimously recommends treatment of R 7.5 in FAN the same as other R7.5 in the City with none of the R6 restrictions.
c. Open House for City Code Updates on December 13, 5:30-7:30pm at Council Chambers
B. Reports/Announcements
a. Trees (Monto) “Dinosaur” tree is diseased and is coming down, new trees at 4th and C
b. Foothills (C.Ockert) Sweet affirmed letter we sent to City Council to slow down the process to Council meeting on 12/4/12. Council moved ahead to create Urban Renewal District, next hearing 12/18 on re-design of the plan to pay for the flood plain mitigation (~$6M)
c. Pre-apps (C.Ockert) 1057 C St, extensive remodel applying for secondary dwelling unit above garage
d. Comp plan (Clee) Not present)
e. Parking Task Force (C.Ockert) To go to city council in 2013
f. Treasurer (O’Neill) Balance of $601.61
g. NEP grant (C.Ockert) FAN^FH grant approved for ice cream social, $400, City looking for NEP grant proposals for 2014
h. LONAC (Bolland) Bolland will co-Chair LONAC 2013, set goals for next year and working on action plan to work with new council

a. Drum: house on 6th and B St corner lot zone proposal to split a single lot brought by owner. Committee consensus did not support this proposal.
