Meeting called to order at 6:30pm by the Chair, Carole Ockert at the Lake Oswego Public Library Baars meeting room.

Presentations

· Liz Hartman, LO School Board on upcoming District Levy vote

May 21^st election will contain votes on two school board positions and a renewal of the Local Option Levy (Levies are spent on education and teachers as opposed to Bonds which are spent on building). Currently the local option levy covers 12% of the school budget. Decision is to raise it due to various needs. Levey will be increased $1.39 to $1.64 per thousand dollars of assessed value (+$0.25). Will raise $2-$3 million depending on tax assessments.

Forest Hills has undergone its security upgrade construction. Next construction will be for seismic (earthquake) upgrades.

Subcommittee Reports

· Tree Subcommittee – Sharon Gustafson- No report

· Treasury- Dennis O’Neill – No report

· PrepLO – David Rudawitz- No report

Updates

· Carole Ockert- NEP grants. Suggestions are: Annual meeting, Festive Front Porches, Elm tree on First St tree ring project and possible benches for Stafford Grove.

· Carole Ockert- Developer advises that the property at 1290 Andrews will rehab septic tank, keep as single lot and remodel the home

· Carole Ockert- Tree permit for house on 6^th came in
