July 1, 2015 LOACC

Committee members present: K. Ockert, C. Ockert, D. Lowe, G. Lowe, D. O’Neil, S. Gustafson, M. Meneghin, D. Condra, M. Monto and Kathy Burke

AGENDA NOTES:

    1. Meeting was called to order at 6:32pm.

    2. Treasurer Report was submitted.

    1. Tree Committee Report (Sharon)

    2. Tree on 9th and Ash (866) was appealed and city withdrew permit, refunding the $180.

    3. Our goal is to get as many people involved in our committee as possible.

    4. Will submit a Mission Statement to the Neighborhood Board for approval next month.

    5. NRAB wants a speaker on July 27. Sharon will check with her committee who would be available to speak and get back to Carole.

    6. Carole suggested that Sharon ask the City for the 2004-2014 Differential, how many trees were missing due to construction. Sharon to assign someone from her committee to look into this and get back to Carole.

    1. Neighborhood Grant submitted Tuesday for $15,000 for a sculpture in the new Stafford Grove park. Contacted HRAB and asked for support and they will support us.

    1. Oswego Vet Clinic on C Street want to remodel in 2 years and will be putting their application in for approval, plans look good. May have issues on HVAC positioning and parking.

    1. City included our “Survey Report” with their RFP at the North Anchor meeting.

    1. Downtown Façade Program, Redevelopment Department and Architect re-visiting drawings, drawings look good. Let the City know that we would be interested in working with them.

    1. 252 D Avenue- we filed an appeal for this project opposing setback variance. Hearing has been set for Monday July 20 at 7pm anyone interested in attending this hearing please contact Carole Ockert.

    1. Code maintenance, housekeeping hearing on July 13th at PC.

    1. 4th Street project, developer wanting to build 6 or 12 units - the added 6 ‘units’ is on hold pending decision on multiple dwelling units

    1. West End Building has been sold for $20.1 Million.
