Directions

To get to this waterfall turn into the day use area ~5.0 miles West of Willamette Pass. *OR* (since the gate was closed when I was there which is ~0.4 miles from the parking area) you can park (where there are no "No Parking" signs) off the SW side of OR-58, ~1/2 mile west of the turn for the day use area and then walk (at your own risk) ~0.2 miles NW along the highway to the sign along the highway for the Salt Creek Falls (with a No Parking sign attached) where the trail down to the viewpoints for the waterfall comes within 100 feet of the highway at a switchback. Shortly after where the "shortcut" meets the trail, there is a nice viewpoint, but the best views are from further down just after coming out of the trees.
