Directions

From the north, turn left onto S Nowlens Bridge Road from OR-213 north of Scott Mills. Follow this road for ~2.4 miles before turning left onto Crooked Finger Road NE (just after crossing over Butte Creek in Scotts Mills). Follow Crooked Finger Road for ~10.8 miles (~1.3 miles past the end of the pavement) and turn right on an unmarked road at a sign for an ORV area. Follow this road downhill (steep and rough in places, high clearance recommended), ignoring all spurs, for ~2.3 miles to the end of the road at a gate. Park here and walk ~100 feet back along the road to the trail which leads steeply downhill (to the right) to the creek and falls in ~0.5 miles. The trail down to the creek and falls is pretty slippery and steep (when I was there a make-shift rope was provided to help descend the final steps to the creek-side, still downstream of the waterfall).
