Location

Over 500' in total, this is a pretty series of cascades immediately below Garnet Lake in the Ansel Adams Wilderness. You can see most of the length from across the valley on the trail toward the Badger Lakes and Thousand Island Lake or get an up-close view from the steep trail below Garnet Lake. There appears to be a decent end to this creek (the lower falls) as it plunges into the Middle Fork San Joaquin River.
