Directions

From the east, take exit #37 (Warrendale Road), follow the road for ~0.6 miles, turn left to pass under the interstate, and turn left again onto NE Frontage Road. Follow this for ~0.3 miles to the parking area on the right. From the west, take exit #35 (Historic Highway/NE Frontage Road) and turn left onto NE Frontage Road. Follow this for ~2.1 miles to the parking area on the right. Park at the trailhead in the John B. Yeon State Park and follow the trail to a signed junction after ~0.3 miles. The right fork leads uphill to a viewpoint above the falls and continues to Upper McCord Creek Falls. The left fork generally traverses the hillside and then leads downhill to the base of the falls. I took the left fork to the base of the falls (highly recommended).
