Directions

To view this waterfall, turn left from CA-70 in the Feather River Canyon (North Fork) onto a dirt road, ~0.4 miles northeast of the Tobin bridge, and follow it to where it meets Jackass Creek. Cross the creek over the bridge and park on the southern side of the creek. Follow the road a short distance to the southwest where it starts to the turn right (north). From here, you should be able to see the waterfall on an unnamed creek to the west (should also be able to see it from where you parked). To get a closer look you may be able to follow the road further up to where it is roughly at the same elevation as the brink (about the sixth switchback) and then walk south towards the creek. However, this may be hampered by the presence of thorny vines (not sure what their common name is) that are prevalent in this area.

This is a small (mostly with respect to flow) waterfall seen while visiting the falls on Jackass Creek. Therefore, unless you are already at Jackass Creek, this is not a very significant waterfall. However, if you do plan on visiting this waterfall it has the potential to be somewhat impressive in the spring.
