Directions

Take CA-70 to a small pullout area (opposite of river) immediately south of the Grizzly Dome Tunnel (~32.2 miles southwest of CA-89, ~28.3 miles northeast of CA-149). To get a view I walked down to Grizzly Creek and hopped along rocks (not recommended) as far as I could. The arch at the top of the photo is the Cresta Tunnel (railroad). This waterfall is not on Grizzly Creek but from a smaller creek originating from the southwestern side of Elephant Butte.
