Location

This is a ~800' waterfall coming down from West Lake and dropping into the western end of Green Lake in the Hoover Wilderness. It is best viewed during the snow melt when flows in its creek are highest. One of the best places to view this waterfall is from a small island just off of the eastern shore of the lake (lots of fallen logs provide a natural bridge). Like East Lake Falls, this waterfall's surrounding scenery is spectacular and may be a little better than East Lake Falls'. This waterfall is just over an hour's walk from the trailhead, but you may wish to spend the rest of the day at the gorgeous Green Lake.

Directions

Drive to the Green Creek Trailhead south of Bridgeport by following the Green Creek Road southwest from US-395 for ~8.0 miles. Follow the Green Creek Trail for ~2.3 miles to the junction with the West Lake and East Lake Trails. Either stay left here, cross the West Fork Green Creek and then follow a side-trail to the lake shore or go straight at the junction and follow any of the use-trails to the lake shore. The waterfall will be to the southwest.
