Directions

The trailhead is located at Meeks Bay just north of the bridge over Meeks Creek (~11.0 miles south of the CA-89/CA-28 intersection in Tahoe City) off the western side of CA-89. There is only a limited number of parking spaces here, so be sure to arrive early. The trail begins after the gate across Forest Route 14N42 and follows the road for ~1.3 miles until the trail leaves the road to the right. At ~2.0 miles from the trailhead take a small use trail off the left side of the main trail and follow it as it parallels the creek on the north side. After following this side-trail a little ways downhill you should come upon the waterfall.
