This waterfall can be seen from multiple viewpoints along the June Lake Loop (CA-158). To get a close-up view of the waterfall, drive ~8.7 miles south from the US-395/CA-158 intersection north of Grant Lake to the trailhead off the right (west) side of the road. The trail begins by paralleling CA-158 (on the west side) to the southwest and south. After ~1.5 miles the trail comes its closest point to this waterfall (at about the same elevation). It may be possible to make your way over towards the waterfall from here or you could keep going up the switchbacks ~0.3 miles and then make your way over towards the waterfall from above.
