To get to this waterfall (series of cascades) drive to the trailhead (near 40.0063 N, 120.9437 W) by turning onto Old Highway Rd (the northern one of the two) off of CA-70/89 and following it for ~0.6 miles before turning left onto a dirt road and following it to the parking area at the trailhead after another ~0.4 miles. From the trailhead follow the Cascades Trail until you reach the two newly constructed footbridges (~0.9 miles from the parking area). Here is a pretty decent view of the second of the two "rapids" marked on the USGS Topo Map. The trail continues on but unless you are looking for exercise or fall color in the autumn I would turn back. The first of the two "rapids" marked on the USGS Topo Map is passed ~0.3 miles from the parking area.
