Once again we are entering the Active Villages Adult Indoor Cricket League. This is a 6 a-side tournament held on Thursday nights at Okehampton College. It is a nice warm up to the season and we played well last year finishing as runners up. The team is likely to be slightly different each week, contact Sam Ewen if you are interested!

Rules Outline

Each team can bat for up to 10 overs

Everybody bowls 1-3 overs (except The keeper)

Batsman retire on 25 –but can re-enter

Fielding and Running are key in the limited space

You score 2 runs if you make a run wicket to wicket

1 run for hitting a side or the back wall behind the keeper

You score 4 if the ball dosen’t touch the ground and hits the end wall (like a 6 in normal cricket)

You score 6 if the ball does hit the ground and hits the end wall (like a 4 in normal cricket)

Cost will be £16 a team per game

Teams will need to provide somebody who can umpire- this person can also score

Players can only play for 1 team
