Bridestowe 2XI vs. Chagford 1XI - 11/05/19

Chagford 1XI came out on top in the local derby against Bridestowe 2XI.

After losing the toss, Bridestowe were asked to bat first on a wet wicket.

Ian Jutson (40) was the only batsman to get going for the hosts who were bowled out for 83.

Adam Barclay (2-11), Murray Hannant (2-25), Ollie Herrington (3-7), and Nigel Letheren (2-5) did the damage with the ball.

Chagford also got off to a shaky start, falling to 23-5.

Lee Jutson (3-14) and Tim Shaw (2-23) made scoring difficult.

A partnership of 36 between Roger Whittingham (35) and Rahul Brijnath (16) shifted the game towards Chagford.

Chagford got home 7 wickets down.
