Bridestowe and Lewdown join forces for junior cricket

Post date: Apr 6, 2017 2:19:32 PM

In an exciting move for the development of junior cricket in the area Bridestowe and Lewdown

have decided to join together to provide Friday night junior training and deliver the ECB All Stars Programme.

The first training session will see all ages come together at Lewdown Cricket Club on the 28 April, with softball running from 6:30pm-7:30pm and hardball carrying on until 8pm.

After this, training for all ages will take place across the two clubs with groups alternating between the two venues. This will allow more children to get high quality training tailored to their age and ability!

Every few weeks all the groups will come together at one of the clubs for a whole club training night.

A timetable detailing where each group is each week will be provided.

From the 19th May we will be delivering the ECB All Stars Programme within our Friday night sessions.

This is an exciting new initiative to encourage more 5-8 year olds into the game by making learning and playing the game fun, as well as providing them with a pack of cricket goodies!

We will run this for all 5-8 year olds, whether they have signed up for all the benefits or not!
