"Thanks to all RPMers for one more round of great listening.Â
Last week we lost another great one and for those lucky enough to have seen him a sad, sad loss. Before I caught Malcolm Holcombe for the first time, I wondered how he would put his powerful songs across live on stage. To say I was blown away would be a huge understatement. I then got to thinking about similar experiences with other singer/songwriters no longer around, stretching back over 50 years."
"So here is..."

"A bit late for week 10 but a bit early for week 11... still, might as well submit when the inspiration strikes. I read a little about a song-writer named Noel McKay recently and discovered that he sometimes writes and performs with the wonderful Brennen Leigh. Hence my first choice features the two of them on stage playing a song that made me laugh. I hope other RPMers will be amused too."

"I have not of course met our comparatively new member David, but feel I I've got to know him a little through his recent submissions to this august forum, so I'd like to dedicate this next number to him. I'm sure he'll "get it"."
Workin' on the Railroad by Elmer Fudd featuring Bugs Bunny - "be vewy vewy quiet, I'm hunting wabbits."
Is You Is Or Is You Ain't My Baby performed by Ira "Buck" Woods - "This is of course not a patch on Louis Jordan's original, but then you wouldn't get Tom and Jerry."
