A34. (THE PRODUCT) - THE PRESENT TENSE LEADS TO THE FUTURE TENSE

Time is fleeting. The demands upon us are many. We want to live active, well-rounded lives. We do not want to spend too much of the present tense of life worrying about the future tense.

A man lives where his thoughts are, and if he has not laid out for himself a sure and guaranteed financial program, then his thoughts must be upon many things, upon property, investments, business. In too many cases the solution of the problem of assured income in the future tense of life takes too much time and attention from the enjoyment of life in the present tense.

When life insurance sets a man free from financial worry concerning the future tense of his life, he is able to devote all of his time and all of his energy to making the most of the present tense.

With life insurance, he has built for himself and for his family a reserve of financial forethought. He has underwritten and capitalized his future earnings. He has covered the gap between the time when he may die and the time when he will die. He has justified the faith of his family in his ability to care always for each member of it.

When these things have been accomplished, he devotes all of the present tense of life to the business of pleasant living.
