Of all the promises you might have made to yourself, I don’t think any is as important as a promise to achieve a positive mental attitude about your work.

A very successful agent had this in mind when he said, “I succeed because I expect to succeed; I close 100 cases per year because I expect to close that many; my clients buy what I recommend because I expect them to buy; I get interviews with new prospects because I expect to get these interviews.” This is positive thinking at its finest.

There are few successful agents in this business who don’t know where they are going at the beginning of the year. The vast majority of them plan well, follow through on these plans, and have their sights set high enough to force themselves into achieving their objectives.
