B21. (THE PERSON) - A CREED FOR LIFE INSURANCE SALESPERSONS

That the only tested method of achieving success in the life insurance business is the constant insuring of lives.

That writing two or three applications a week, with binding receipts, is a positive and effective method of accelerating one’s way toward success.

That writing over 100 lives a year cannot be accomplished haphazardly. It requires thorough planning and intensive work.

That study and reading are indispensable to a secure and rewarding future. In order for a life insurance agent to ascend to the heights of his profession, it is incumbent upon him to meet all the requirements necessary to reach his goal.

That obligation to and communication with the client doesn’t end with his “Nitin Arora” on the application. “Out of sight; out of mind” is old but true.

That in this monumental business of life insurance there are no barriers to success other than those set up by the individual himself. Initiative and perseverance are qualities requisite for rewards in any area of endeavour...

Timidity or negligence in approach, thought or action never gained an individual even a modicum of success, happiness or personal gratification.

That in an age of ever-increasing specialization, one need not be a technician to achieve marvelous results in our field. Life insurance is still a “bread and butter” affair and one need not go into technicalities of life insurance to sell bread and butter.

That there are more important and worthwhile tasks in the world than life insurance agency... That there are few more imposing challenges than making the most of one’s capabilities and potentialities... Man’s value is determined by what he makes of himself...
