August 3rd. Highpower Match Results

It was another nice day to shoot. Overcast skies turned to sunshine by the Vintage Military Match which provided fairly good target contrast. The mosquitos were a little thick but a fair amount of bug dope kept them at bay. Scott Colledge kicked butt with a 772-20X in the Highpower Match. Gene Scarboro took the Vintage with a 280-4X. Today might have been a first…there were 2 FN FALs on the line. Everybody else was shooting something different…a Garand, 1903 Sprg, Krag, K31.

There will not be a match in Sept due to hunting season. Our next match is scheduled for 19 Oct. We’ll try to get back on the 3^rd Sunday of the month schedule for the winter. Check the website calendar for times.
