Physical education Philosophy

If you can't do it - you can't teach it.

My students buy into my Physical Education class because I do not ask them to do anything that I cannot do myself. Whether it is running the mile with them, playing pickleball, fitness tests, throwing a perfect spiral, rock-climbing, swinging a golf club, hitting a baseball, spiking a volleyball, hitting an archery bullseye, doing burpies, plank, perfect push-up, proper form for high jump, downward dog, jump-roping - other than a cartwheel there is nothing I ask these kids to do that I do not show them how to do myself. I do not stand on the sidelines and bark orders at them - I am right there with them and show them that this job is a lifestyle and I live this lifestyle on and off the court everyday.

...and the most important thing!
