Health Assignment for Section 4: Week 1

We are going to be learning about the effects of exercise on the heart as well as heart rate training. In order to better understand these concepts watch this quick video on the heart and circulatory/cardiovascular system.

In your flip grid tell me two things you learned about from the video or two things you found interesting.

MONDAY - Recovery and Restore.

15 minute routine. Do the whole thing but show me 4-5 stretches in your flipgrid

Tuesday - Strength

Push-ups 3 ways! Do 3 sets of push-ups - reps should be 3-5. Spiderman / One leg / You pick.


wednesday - CORE

I gave you a fitness blender workout this week - it's only 10 minutes so do the whole workout and you can pick 3-5 to show in your flipgrid.

thursday - cardio

The goal is to do a 1 mile run this week. We are going to do some Heart Rate lessons in the next couple of weeks so running will be our main cardio.
