CrossMgr 2.0: Hundreds of Races, Thousands of Riders, One New Release

After hundreds of races and thousands of riders, I am happy to announce the availability of CrossMgr 2.0.

This is now the recommended version.

This version has hundreds of improvements (and dozens of bug fixes) over the previous version based on the feedback from hundreds of races around the world (thanks for all your suggestions!).

Some improvements include:

• Better support for Gran Fondo-style results (kiosk mode, finisher mode in web results).

• Ability to show Results, History, Chart and Scenario screens in separate windows. This makes easy to monitor the race results while doing manual input.

• Addition of Rider Dashboard feature that allows riders to see how much they need to improve to move up.

• Google Directions to the race are available right from the pre-results web page (just do an HTML publish before the race starts).

• Complete re-write of the camera feature - now supporting a separate application CrossMgrCamera. Much easier to use, as the camera image is always available on-screen.
