Your Budget

Your budget provides a baseline of where you are in financial terms. It is an assessment tool. It is a planning tool. It provides context and structure to the amount of money you currently have and the amount of money you aspire to create.

You can find a template for a budget HERE. This is a very, very basic starting point. There are no savings or income projections. No forecasting... it is simply a place to start to get a sense of where you are. Where you are headed will be added when you are profitable.

Also, it is a bit early and presumptuous to add line items like taxes and business expenses to this budget. This will be a part of the process, however, it is putting the cart before the horse, for purposes at this stage. Therefore, the following should be viewed as a "household" budget or the budget you had before owning a business.

Be advised, however, as a part of your onboarding process, you will be asked to talk about how much money want or need... i.e. what your income goals are for this business.

The following is a screenshot of this budget. Open the "live" document HERE. You will then want to save it to your Google Drive. You do this by File > Save a copy... and when you have done this, you will rename it to something that makes it yours, on your Drive. You will then be able to populate the spreadsheet with your information.

If this is beyond your current capabilities, reach out for help... or you will be taught how to do this as a part of your onboarding.
