Ross Squire and Donna Timpone

Your Annual Career Tune-Up

May 10, Thursday

5:30 pm - 7:00 pm - Networking/Refreshments

7:00 pm - 8:30 pm - Presentation - LIVE and VIRTUAL

    • What are the new trends in the technical communications, training and user experience marketplace?

    • Is your current position or skill set aligned with these trends?

    • Is your current position consistent with your short and long-term career goals and objectives?

    • What new roles and responsibilities do you need to acquire to move your career forward?

    • Are you current with the latest trends?

Many of us, so consumed with work and extracurricular activities, drift through our careers without being mindful of its direction. We stick to the same tools and approaches without considering what else might be available. The challenge for all of us is to design a career that is fulfilling, rewarding and resilient to changes in the marketplace. In order to do this, it is important to be aware of “wasting” energy on the wrong things- like co-worker’s negativity and executive political games.

During the presentation, Ross Squire, President of KnowledgeStaff and Donna Timpone, Owner/Career Coach of User Edge Technical Personnel will offer suggestions for reinvigorating yourself in the workplace so that you can design resilient, pro-active and fulfilling careers and will provide some tools and advice for taking control of your career. Based on their knowledge of the marketplace, they will share their perspective on what you should have in your toolkit.
